GRADUATE SCHOOL! The video below was compiled by me to show my achievement of graduating from college at Edmonds Community College in Washington USA on US government sponsored scholarship in 2012. It was truly an honor and one of my highlights. I will never forget this night of joy and i want to inspire the youth in my country, South Africa, to dream big, travel afar and never give up. | EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS I ATTENDED I went to numerous school around South Africa. i have attended 3 primary schools, kindergarten included, and 4 High schools. people say i probably ate the head of an ostrich when i was little, hence i am always on the move. I attended 2 universities of Technology namely Cape Peninsula University of Technology (ND Operations Management, and Tshwane Unicersity of Technology (Certificate in Management). I then went to UNISA during the time when i was working full time, but i felt since i am still young i should just go to school full time and that's when i moved to Cape Town to study at CPUT. Not so long after that move i got a scholarship to study overseas In USA Washington at Edmonds Community College (View Graduation Video on the left). Studying overseas was such an experience, one that i will never forget and one that i will pass on forward to those who look up to me.  |
COMPANIES I WORKED FOR The Below logos are of companies and organisations i have worked with and shaped my career with. I did mostly marketingand sales jobs in the below companies, from point of sale promotion (Premier Foods), technology pre-sales support (Samsung-RSA), brand ambassador (TCC-RSA), projects and communication co-ordinator and student technology support officer (START-USA), Social Media Community Outreach (Jolkona Foundation -USA), Events assistant (Starfish Greatheart Foundation-RSA). I had a great deal of fun working for theses organisations and executing my duties. I would do it again if i have to. | MINDING MY OWN BUSINESS Yes! i do mind my own business too... The below logos represent my own initiatives.2 Non-profit organisations and a marketing consulting small business start-up. I co-founded ilitha Leseding Foundation in 2009, New Dawn Foundation in 2011 and my small business start-up, SalonMate in 2012. I have inspired many to start their own and i am happy to see them also progress. All my initiatives were rooted from passion for making a difference as well a yearning for independence. I am coping just fine with all the work because i have a great team and positive influencers. |
